City of Long Beach official website
The City of Los Angeles is a Mayor-Council-Commission form of government, as originally adopted by voters of the City of Los Angeles, effective July 1, 1925 and reaffirmed by a new Charter effective July 1, 2000.
After 75 years, the City remains true to its founder's vision and is as desirable as it was in 1939. Located on the northwest side of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, the City is a "gem by the sea." Today, the City is comprised of four residential areas--Lunada Bay, Malaga Cove, Montemalaga, and Valmonte, all of which are nestled within 849 acres of open space.

The City of Rolling Hills Estates officially became Los Angeles County's 60th municipality on September 18, 1957. In that first year, the City's population totaled only 3,500, but its new citizens were united in their concern over maintaining the community's rural atmosphere and equestrian lifestyle, characterized by rolling hills, white fences, bridle trails, and vast open spaces.
Serving as the northern gateway to Orange County's 42 miles of coastline, this quiet, down-to-earth community is the perfect seaside destination to call home, visit, or locate your business. Seal Beach is named after the seals that once frequented its beachfront. Today, the city is filled with quaint neighborhoods and hometown appeal.
